June, the mid-year month, and I have been working with Changing Woman. She is the most accessible Goddess you could find. She is called Changing Woman because depending upon your search, your need, your place in the spiral of life she will come to you as child, young woman or elder to help you explore love, generosity, harmony and to live with all things through these graces.

The mid-month of the year, that pivotal point of change of the longest or shortest day of the year. It was a good month to work with Changing Woman, moving out of the dark, towards light. Contemplating the change I want to effect in my life. The aspect I was drawn to was the elder as this is where my life journey has brought me.

Changing Woman- Past, Present and Future

Over the years I have established a detachment from emotional reactions to things happening around me. But this month that emotional detachment was shaken. I experienced a few incidences that pushed me to the edge of my detachment. In one case almost making me lose my temper and it take a lot to get me to that point. As I looked at my responses and examined my thoughts, I realised I had allowed this sliver of irritation to move me away from the grace of harmony in my world with my reactions.

As I contemplated Changing Woman, the elder, I saw the way all things turn. The incidences I faced were reflections of things I had faced before, and my reaction was a reflection of prior reactions. But they were only reflections, as over the years I had grown and changed. Changing Woman is a really lovely avatar to work with. She is imbued with the primal warmth of life in all its aspects.
