Every day with every choice we make thresholds open up I'm not talking about the physical threshold, the door, the window, the opening in the wall. I'm talking about spiritual thresholds; that place where the world beyond opens up to us; that place where we have an opportunity to experience a dimension that ignites our soul.
The threshold opens and the world appears larger, brighter and more immediate. We have this epiphany we understand who we are and why we are. We understand our connection to the whole web of life. We are life. The dictionary defines threshold as “A transitional interval beyond which some new action or different state of affairs is likely to begin or occur”
The question is when these thresholds open up do we want to expand? Do we want to experience our soul journey? This often means we have to leave behind the things that are comfortable, the things that we have out grown.
We have the unique ability to transition the threshold if only for an instant, but in that instant we can bring back so much, our lives becomes fuller and richer. You see the choice lies with us, always, to accept the moment or to let it go.
