This weekend I had planned on spending some time in the garden. Not because the garden was in dire need of me getting into it and tidying up after winter, but just that need to be out in the fresh air and connecting with the earth again.
A bonus of having the bantams is that they have kept the weeds and the grass down really well, for the end of winter my garden is the tidiest it has ever been.
I didn't manage to get out due to onset of a cold. I had been congratulating myself on not having caught any colds or bugs this winter. And in truth it wasn't really that much of a cold. Dosed myself up on lime, honey and ginger drink and spent part of the day sleeping. I decided to use lime instead of lemon as I have had such a bumper crop and it worked a treat.
To make up for not getting into the garden I went of to play in "The Magic Garden"
