I am grateful for the time our paths journeyed together.
I am grateful for the strength and compassion you had to take on the upbringing of four children not birthed by you.
I would not be the person I am today if you had not come into my life and journeyed with me along my path for 53 years.
In the great span of the universe, our time together was very short but in that time I learnt.
I learnt from you even when you felt I didn't take your instructions, orders or advice.
I learnt of family and you gave me new sisters to love.
I learnt of integrity and independence.
I learnt to journey in the world with pride in who I am.
At this time our paths have separated but as our souls journey through the everlasting spiral of life I know we will again for a time journey the path together.
