“When nobody else celebrates you, learn to celebrate yourself. When nobody else compliments you, then compliment yourself. It’s not up to other people to keep you encouraged. It’s up to you. Encouragement should come from the inside.” - Joel Osteen

Often when I hear people talk about self care it is a special occasion, to book and appointment and be pampered with a massage, manicure or pedicure, hair cut or colour. It is often a physical activity that requires the exchange of money for the service. It is a lovely thing to do for yourself but it is not the only thing that you should do.

Self care should be a daily activity and it should encompass all aspects of you. Self care does not have to take a lot of time and it doesn’t have to be large or extravagant. Here are some ideas - List titles and some of these ideas are from Soul-Warriors.com

There are 2 stages : - 3 minutes of pure laughter. - 5 minutes of silence. With soft music in the background, close your eyes and enjoy the moment. During these 5 minutes soft music will play along.
