A gray as it is, I have had a lovely Sunday morning.
Today's tea is Chai Black tea from TLeaf.T
The smell of this tea is divine and tea tastes the way it smells. Green cardamom - intensely fragrant, with sharp vegetal notes of green spice Cinnamon stick - for sweetness and warmth, Fennel seed - offers a gentle anise or licorice note, Fresh ginger - flavors the whole pot of tea with a fresher spice note, Black peppercorns - gives the chai a spicy bite. Warm, rich and spicy,
And for a visual note the colour is a rich mahogany.
Aurora had her manic attack which involved racing around the house madly leaping onto furniture and into the bath, until she finally decided to settle down when I sat at the computer as she could now sleep in my arms.
