The Art of Tea

Helen

A beautiful sunny Sunday morning, I am feeling really good, the cold is still hanging on but the inside of my head is much clearer.

This morning's tea require a bit of thought, at first I thought I might have Rose White Tea, I thought I had run out of this delightful tea but found I had enough left for one more pot. Then in the back of the cupboard I found an unopened packet of Roasted Dandelion Root Tea. That appealed to me for today.

I have a lovely little pottery tea set I got years ago from Trade Aid. Due to the style of the tea set I don't use it very often, primarily for black tea which I don't drink a lot of.

So I decided on the Dandelion Root Tea. It is described as a tea similar to coffee ie Dandelion Coffee. Very dark brew with a smooth earthy flavour. Like the smell of dirt when you are digging it up to plant new seedlings. A warm and comforting smell.

The tea complimented the mushrooms kale and halloumi I had in my brunch. I to top off the mellow start to the day I listened to ethnic music on Radio Magico

Now I am off outside to tidy up the pottager garden. Aurora is on the search for sunlight to bask in and Khepra has already settled in the sunshine in the garden.
