The Art of Tea

Helen

When I first woke the sun was shining, then grey clouds piled up and rain arrive in a quick and noisy squall. Then followed, once more by the sun and everything becomes bright again. Today I wanted to have that light feeling of summer so I chose my Rose White Tea from TLeafT. The cup I chose to drink from was given to me in my teens.

Rose White is a light, delicate tea with a rosy gold colour. A tea that brings memories of early summer mornings when the air is soft, the light is clear and the day spreads before you full of possibilities that you can get to in your own time. It is a tea that asks you to remember to slow down and take pleasure in your senses; the light resting on leaves, the purity of the air, the gentle scents that abound, the smooth softness a cat’s fur, the sound of silence.

“I live there... Far above the song-filled clouds, where the dewdrops touch my skin so bare I live there.” ― Sanober Khan, A touch, a tear, a tempest

My photo shoot this morning reflects the beauty that surrounds me daily.

When I looked over to Khepra resting on the cushions, the perfect colour match caught my attention.

From above the pond I photographed down to the bottom of the garden and the old seat in the contemplation garden, there seems to be a hint of loneliness emanating from the old seat, I need to get down to spend some time in the contemplation garden bringing it back from being slightly overgrown

The fish float motionless at different levels and the clarity of the water lets me see right to the bottom of the pond.
