Very late start today, up late and then no internet.
I started this behind day with a beautiful Green Rose tea from T2, A beautiful tea to look at with the rose and cornflower petals adding a touch of red and blue to the tea leaves and a sweetness from the addition of currents, mango and papaya. A lovely relaxing start. I chose my Geisha tea cup to add to my pleasure.
Serida is an absolute ball of energy, she keeps startling Aurora and I by racing through the house or leaping after flies or onto the scratching fish. In the garden she is hunting thing that are moving in the ivy. You forget how energetic young cats are.
As I still haven’t got access to the internet I will post this later, get out and mow the lawn.
Mowed one quarter of the lawn and came in for a rest, even with the sunny day yesterday, the grass is still so very wet making the mowing hard work.
I am behind myself
Chasing the movement of the day
Moving but not achieving
As if the world beneath my feet
Is flowing backwards
For every step I take
I still do not reach this moment
Frustration and irritation arise
I have to stop, rewind and begin again
I am now in the process of rewinding. Half the day has gone by I think I will give myself to a book and let everything slow down and settle and I will try again later to get things done.
