The Art of Tea 07/05/2017

Helen

A quiet, calm, slightly overcast morning. I have the lawn mowing to do but am reluctant to break the beautiful quiet. I will spin out another half hour, hopefully by then someone else will have broken the quiet.

My choice today Oolong Tea Iron Goddess of Mercy, Oolong tea falls between green tea and black tea in the oxidation of the Camellia sinensis leaves. All teas contain Fluoride, Manganese, Potassium, Sodium. Magnesium, Niacin and Caffeine. Iron Goddess of Mercy has a light golden colour has a slightly roasted nutty flavour. I chose my blue Steiner tea cup as a reflection of my aura I have decided to identify this as my aura cup. A very pleasant way to start the day

It was my first week back at work after my three weeks leave and truly by the end of Tuesday, I would have sworn I hadn’t had leave at all.

We have been blessed with lovely mild, sunny Autumn days and the morning and evenings a cooling down with a chill kiss in the air as Mount Taranaki pulls on his winter mantle.

The Sunday morning slience to beginning to be disturbed I can now hear a few more cars driving passed so I will head out shortly to mow the lawns.

Sharing the wisdom of John O’Donohue from Anam Cara: A book of Celtic Wisdom

“If you try to view yourself through the lenses that others offer you, all you will see are distortions; your own light and beauty will become blurred, awkward, and ugly. Your sense of inner beauty has to remain a very private thing.”

And

“No one else has access to the world you carry around within yourself; you are its custodian and entrance. No one else can see the world the way you see it. No one else can feel your life the way you feel it. Thus it is impossible to ever compare two people because each stands on such different ground. When you compare yourself to others, you are inviting envy into your consciousness; it can be a dangerous and destructive guest.”

Blessing to all my friends and family may you celebrate the beauty within you
