The Art of Tea 21/05/2017

Helen

I got off to a very late start today. My sore throat, cough and hoarse voice have finally morphed into a head cold. So I have a very heavy head and my voice can’t decide if it is going to be deep well, unsupported sound or no voice at all, it keeps changing from on to the other and Serida wants to know why I am making funny noises at her.

I made chocolate damper for my brunch and paired it with Sakura Rose Sencha Green Tea as I wanted to pair a sweet tea with the chocolate flavour. Sakura Rose gives that sweetness with the rose petals and sakura cherries. This tea had to be poured into my Geisha tea cup to add to the Japanese aesthetic.

I downloaded a Yoga Programme with over 200 sessions and managed this week to practice three times. It is going to take a lot of work to get me to a point I am satisfied with. My hip joints are really tight and I was unable to do the laughing baby pose, this is on your back with your feet in you hand rolling from side to side. I will master being a laughing baby.

The Bach flower remedies I made up for Serida and Aurora have appeared to have work, even though I only managed to get a couple of doses into them. Aurora is taking control and putting Serida in her place. Serida is still testing the boundaries all the time but she also backing down when Aurora challenges her. Majority of the time they move around the house with their tails in a relaxed position so I not really concerned about their relationship, I just want to make sure that tension dissipates quickly when they do battle.

Serida is funny with Khepra, he can cow her very quickly with just a stare and she backs off. When he come in she rushes up to him and she will rub herself along his side and she does attention getting dancing moves around him. With the weather cooling off Khepra is coming inside to sleep at night so I wake up to find myself pinned in my bed when he curls up next to my back. Being unwell yesterday I went to sleep for about three hours in the afternoon and woke up to Khepra by my waist, Serida on the opposite laying heavily against my legs and Aurora curled up by my pillow..

The sun is shining and no wind at all, another beautiful sunny Autumn Sunday, such a change from the very down pours and the lowering grey skys. I wWill take it easy today as I have a busy week coming up. I need to conserve as much energy as I can to get through the week especially with this head cold.

My you all have a blessed Sunday and reconnect with your inner authentic self
