I drew the card for February, and it was another death avatar, Valkyrie. My first thoughts were 'I've just done this, looking into the dark and hidden aspects of myself.' The Valkyrie's role was to lead the souls of the worthy warriors to the underworld, in the cyclical relationship between death and life the Valkyrie balanced the souls and lead them through

Initially I looked at the dark aspects of a powerful female psychopomp and created this image in relation to that aspect of my avatar.

Enter the Halls reflected the celebration of a life well lived and the reward of an afterlife build upon pleasure.

As I thought more on this avatar, I realised that the Halls were a transitional place and when the soul is weighed, the soul moves on further in the cycle of life and death, to the beyond
