I thought deeply on today’s challenge. There were many thoughts of things I saw regularly, but didn’t see every day, and then it came to me something I see every day and take great joy in, the sky. Like the sea, the sky has many moods, changing it face moment by moment, bringing turmoil or calmness into our lives. The sky and the mind belong together each having a wide open expansiveness. As I walk I often raise my face to the sky, I look for the stories in the clouds and listen for the whispers in the wind, I embrace the colours that fill my vision. When storm clouds ride the sky, tension builds and then in the stillness of dusk calmness spreads velvet wings and mind and spirit find peace and serenity. I give thanks to the beauty and wonder of the sky that surrounds us.
