There are always flowers for those who want to see them – Henri Matisse
And reflecting on today’s challenge, there is always music in the air for those who want to hear it.
Perception is not only in the way we view the world but also in the way we hear the world. Much of what others call music, I hear as noise and I am not able to relax into it. My perception is tied very strongly into nature I hear music in the movement of the sea, the chorus of bees in summer, the water flowing in the crystal fountain, the resonant ring of my Earth chimes. Music that is in harmony with me, when life becomes discordant, I use the music of nature to bring me back into balance.

Something that I have relatively recently embraced is the chanting of mantras, it brings me joy, a sense of eternity, that anything is possible and my world opens up when I chant out loud.
Music is a way of lifting us out of ourselves and transporting us into a deeper realm through “beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion" (Oxford Concise Dictionary)

“We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.” ― Arthur O'Shaughnessy, Poems of Arthur O'Shaughnessy
