When I thought about today’s gratitude I have to admit I was a little daunted. There is the obvious response to something that fills me with love being family, friends, animals, the spirit of my house and the spirit of place of the piece of land I look after.
Beyond that when I reflect on love, the thing that fills me with love is life. It is the mother whose surface we live upon, who has supplied everything we could possibly need, and it is everything that also lives upon this planet, everything that we are connected to. Every grains of sand, rock and mountain, Every drop of water, stream, lake and ocean. Every tiny germinating seed, every plant and tree. Every insect, fish, bird and animal, including the human animal. We are in the web of life, we are a strand woven into the place in which we live, we are part of the music and part of the silence, we move within the flow of our environment.
The greater element of life is the thing that fills me with love.
For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence..........., look up at the sky, and contemplate HOW AMAZING LIFE IS - Unknown
