“I meet myself in stillness, and we breathe” S.W.Berry
There is a place you know, a place you have known all your life from when you were a new born baby, it is your still centre of being. This place, as I have written on other days, is your place of regeneration, your connection to the web of life and to greater universe. In this place is perfect stillness. When you choose to spend time here you will find the quiet centre of stillnessbecomes something you can regularly and easily tap into to strengthen your energy when you have to deal with a chaotic external world.
I choose to live my life without electronic noise, when I am at home the only sounds are the water trickling over the crystal fountain, the purring or meowing of the cats, the sound of my own voice chanting. In the garden the sounds of water, bird life, wind chimes and one again me chanting and occasionally the lawn mower. For me the centre of stillness is a familiar place that I tap into daily, it is very easy for me to release the outer world and drop into stillness. This action allows me to deal with difficult situation with calmness.

Within you there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself”. Hermann Hesse
